City Park and Forestry Agency to Provide 3 Forests This Year

Jakarta City Park and Forestry Agency keeps adding green open space. Three additional city forests will be provided this year in different locations.
The construction will be started April 2024
The city forests to be built in Ujung Menteng Baru and Jalan Sawo Kecik, East Jakarta, and on Jalan Pinang II, Pondok Labu, South Jakarta.
Agency's Data Center and City Park and Forestry Information Head, Ivan Murcahyo, explained city forest on Jalan Sawo Kecik will be 2,300 square meter, city forest in Ujung Menteng Baru will be 7,700 square meter, and city forest on Jalan Pinang II will be 6,000 square meter.

Ivan added those forests will be equipped with supporting facilities such as security post, toilet, pedestrian lane, sport field, parking lot, jogging track, outdoor gym, seating, and lighting.
Trees to be planted are protective trees.
